The kids each made presents at preschool and brought them home with great fanfare that they had "surprises" in their backpack and there should be "NO PEEKING!"
Sadie went as far to hide her present.....in the corner of my bedroom.
(Sam tried his hardest to get her to choose a better location and was quite frustrated that she would not listen to him).
We had strawberry pie for breakfast and my favorite chicken salad for lunch. (Well, I did, at least...)
Joe and the kids picked out flowers for the front and got them planted for me.
Now I just have to remember to water them enough to keep them alive.
