They're here!

We've been counting down the days until Grandma and Papa's arrival this week. When Sam realized (soon after he woke up yesterday morning) that it was the day Grandma and Papa were coming, he wanted to camp out at the front window watching for them to pull up. Thankfully, I managed to talk him out of that plan since they weren't coming until suppertime.

We had a fun morning and picnic lunch at the Arboretum, lots of playtime this afternoon, and sweet corn for supper (among other things). Papa and Sam each had 3 ears of corn! I am currently listening to them all laugh at Wipeout! on TV....I am not sure how my mom got stuck on the floor while the men (Joe is on the other end out of view) are on the couch.

The plan for the night is for Sam to camp out in the backyard - it has yet to be determined who gets to spend the night with him. My bet's on Papa....
