12 Days of Catch-up: I DON'T WANT IT!

We spent a week at my Uncle Jim's cabin in Minnesota with my parents (and Carl and Alissa for a few days, too).

High on the list of things to do for the kids was going fishing. We tried a couple times early in the week with no luck. Then my parents had the kids one night and made one last attempt. The fish were biting and each kid caught one.

Sam was delighted.

Sadie - not so much. The idea of catching a fish was much more glamorous than the reality. As my dad tried to hold it near her for a picture, all she did was say "I DON'T WANT IT!" again and again.

And then they got to do another thing high on the list of things to do - go for a boat ride.
