Here she is!

Here she is - Sadie! As I said in my earlier post, we got a call from Holt asking us to consider a little girl in China..........

We had submitted some additional paperwork to be considered to be matched with a child with special needs in April, not thinking anything much would come of it and we would still be in for a lllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnngggggg wait, and lo and behold, we get a match about a month later! Her Chinese name is Shan An Xian, and is considered a special needs adoption because she has a repaired cleft lip and will need cleft palate repair once she gets to the US. Her paperwork describes her as "looking for fun when she wakes up" and "cannot be quiet for 10 minutes," so we think she and Sam will make a great pair.
