and here Sadie and I are playing blocks. Well, Sadie is playing blocks. They are still novel enough that she will let me type while she plays.
We actually got her to bed around 9:30, which is good because Joe and I were both a bit delirious. We had slept 4 hours of the previous 48. She woke up around 11:00 (I think....my wonderful husband went into investigate - I'm a bit shaky on the details.) At some point later I heard more crying so switched duty with Joe. I took her in the guest bed with me and we made it until now, we she woke up and started face-planting kisses on me. Not a bad way to wake up, even if it is the middle of the night.
